Can The Sabi products be used whilst trying to conceive?
Our skincare products have undertaken a product safety assessment by an independent laboratory. This assessment takes into account that the user of a product could be conceiving. All skincare formulations are safe to use during this time.
We highly recommend that unless you know you are definitely NOT pregnant, that you do not consume our infusions. Like with all herbal infusions - our Herbatas can have a strong impact on the body and very little is known about herbal interactions on first trimester pregnancies, due to the ethical and safety issues of testing on pregnant women. We have vetted and approved our ingredients in the current infusion doses and concentrations for new mothers, postpartum, breastfeeding and for the general day to day (except for when pregnant).

We strongly recommend, however, that you do not consume our infusions (also known as Herbatas) during pregnancy. They have been produced specifically for postpartum and everyday cyclical use when a woman is not pregnant.
Can The Sabi products be used during postpartum
Our products have been produced specifically with postpartum in mind. The entire range has been verified by a third-party Obstetrician-Gynaecologist who has confirmed the products are suitable for use during postpartum recovery.
For your peace of mind, if you have any inquiries regarding specific ingredients, please consult your General Practitioner before use.
Are The Sabi products organic?
We are not certified organic by any certification board. If available and effective, we select the organic option but we believe this certification limits the ability of responsible smallholder farmers to sell their products to brands like The Sabi. Certification costs money and isn't always the best option for the farm.
As farmers and food growers ourselves, we are strict with regards to best farming practices but we also understand the practicalities on the ground. We therefore source from providers who follow the best possible practices available to them and the farm, preferably with regenerative farming practices in mind.
Are the products safe to use on babies? ACB to double check re skincare
Our skincare products have undertaken a product safety assessment by an independent laboratory. This assessment takes into account that the user of a product could be a baby. All skincare formulations are 100% natural and safe to use on babies.
You can make a light infusion of our SERENITY Herbata to support in calming your baby from +6 months old; but we do not recommend any other infusion is consumed by children as they have been produced with postpartum and breastfeeding in mind.
Does The Sabi use silicones or parabens?
The Sabi products are free from artificial chemicals, fragrances, preservatives, colourants, petrochemicals, phthalates, silicones, DEA, TEA, sulphates and parabens.
Are The Sabi products 100% natural?
Yes! We are 100% transparent about what goes into our products and can confirm we have been strict with our suppliers; and all ingredients used are from natural origins.

Does The Sabi test on animals?
Absolutely not. The Sabi is against animal cruelty and does not condone, conduct or commission animal testing on any of its products or ingredients, or by way of any of our laboratories or suppliers. Animal testing within cosmetics was deemed illegal by the European Union in 2009.
Are The Sabi products suitable for vegans?
We are delighted and proud to confirm there are no animal derived products within our product line.
Are The Sabi products clean?
´Clean´ for us means 100% natural ingredients and fragrances; and 100% pure essential oils. It means we can trace the raw ingredients used to produce our products and we hold our suppliers accountable to their claims. It also means our products are free from phthalates, sulphates, synthetic colour and fragrances, parabens, GMOs, mineral oils, petrolatum, propylene glycol, Ethanolamines, Nanoparticles, Toluene, Heavy Metals, Formaldehyde, Triclosan and Triclocarban, Methyl Cellosolve or 2-Methoxyethanol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone - no syhtnetics or chemical nasties of any kind.
I have very sensitive skin, what do you recommend?
Our products have been Dermatologist tested and approved are suitable for sensitive skin. If you have any questions regarding the ingredients used or have a reaction to our products, please contact our customer service team directly.

Do you use alcohol in your products?
In place of harsh, chemical preservatives we use a little, naturally derived alcohol in its gentlest form and lightest possible dosage to inhibit the growth of unwanted bacteria in our products. We have super sensitive skin ourselves and find this type of alcohol and amount is not problematic or drying to the skin, but individual results may vary.

SHELF LIFE & USE
How long does the product last once opened?
Each product shelf life can be found on the product box in a symbol with the number of months indicated. We recommend 6 months after opening our products due to their all natural ingredients and natural scent compounds, they are more likely to be sensitive to degradation from improper storage with high temperatures and sun light exposure. If you live in a warm climate, best keep your products in the fridge for added refreshment, shelf life and to maintain the crispness of the all natural perfume of our essential oils.
How long will it take for me to use one product
This depends on the individual, but for skincare we estimate approximately 6-12 weeks depending upon frequency and quantity of use.
For our infusions - if used as recommended, we expect they will be consumed within the month.

How long will it take for my order to arrive
In Europe, it usually takes between 2-5 working days to receive your order but we can be at the mercy of DHL which might mean varied delivery times during peak periods. Shipping times outside of Europe may vary. You will receive an indication with your order confirmation of approximate shipping times.

Is your product packaging recyclable?
We have put a lot of work into making sure our packaging is 96% recyclable.
- Our carton boxes: are recyclable and compostable
- Our glassware: is made from 40% recycled glass and can be recycled. If feasible, we suggest removing the label and lids before recycling.
- Our outer tea packaging in unbleached, recyclable and garden compostable.
- Our tea bags are compostable at industrial compost sites (which some cities offer within their waste collection programs). We are yet to make the tea bags compostable for your back garden - but this is our goal!
